A Transmission of Defiance

Across a public broadcast transmission, static crackles briefly. Then, a deep voice, obviously for anonymity, speaks.
"Port Lux. As you ceaselessly throw yourselves upon a foe you hate, you forget that you are not against the common bandit rabble that plagues this port. No. You are facing a mere splinter of the vast enemy that is the Ministry of Knowledge. For years they have committed terrible acts against the Apex people, subjugating their own kind and using them as lab rats, all for what goal? Dominance? Power?"
The voice pauses, for a moment, then audibly exhales.
"You will rise against them. But not alone. Set aside your past grudges. Set aside your old wounds, past mistakes, challenges, and bets. They will do you no good. Instead, we shall unite under one banner. Spit in the face of the oppressors. Weather you are royal, beggar, commoner, trader, bandit..... None of it matters now. Take up arms, and listen for the warhorn's cry upon the Saturday sun.
The Miniknog will know who we are. Their experiments will be tolerated no longer. Freedom calls, Port Lux. And she awaits her answer.

Break upon our blades, Ministry. Your tyranny won't last."
The speaker chuckled, and the broadcast cut shortly after.

(TL;DR: Come organize and actually do the raid proper, guys. Saturday at about 1:30 EST we should gather and prepare for a raid IC. Then we'll go do it.)

The transmission crackled again.
"Upon wings of wax, I saw only freedom before me. A wonderful line, isn't it? Old poem about Icarus, one of my favorites in here. The Ministry isn't deterred, Lux. Cut off the head of the Hydra, and two more grow back in its place. So we, like those heroes of old, must find a way to burn the wound shut after we cut off the head. And their special little force out there in the labs? Doing more than just looking into Aether, the word on everyone's lips says. They're organized. We aren't. That's why we're losing. Crush one bug, and a hundred more take their place. So the question is, Lux- Will you stand there and let the Ministry kill you, or will you stand your ground and drive them back?
The warhorn's cry shall signal our rally. Until then, keep your guns loaded and your heads clear, Lux."

The final crackle of static rang out on the comm waves.
"To lift an autumn hair is no sign of great strength; to see the sun and moon is no sign of sharp sight; to hear the noise of thunder is no sign of a quick ear. What the ancients called a clever fighter is one who not only wins, but excels in winning with ease..... Hence his victories bring him neither reputation for wisdom nor credit for courage. He wins his battles by making no mistakes. Making no mistakes is what establishes the certainty of victory, for it means conquering an enemy that is already defeated."
A pause of only a few moments followed.
"Daylight's burning, Lux. Let's get this show on the road."

Do not willingly blind yourselves with these empty words. Making no mistakes is impossible, for it is how individuals progress and learn.
Science requires a cost to be developped. Oppose us, and that cost will be your blood.

The radio buzzed again.
"Looks like we have a little opposition from the big bad general himself, hm? Can't stop the tides from changing, Yegor. Cower in your hole. We will not give up our freedom to the likes of you. You want us to pay for that with our blood, so be it. Your arrogance won't bring you far."
