    your character disappear when you unlock techs in sc. just disable the techs again and your character should be playable again.

    Something I think we need is that anyone who uploads a showcase, should be responsible for keeping it up to date, and we should also have a permission system where someone needs permission to post others' mods or they might be able to post it but have to remove it if the author doesn't want it on other sites.

    i have a problem,my steam account nearly got hacked so i reinstalled it,on starbound i put all my char files in the folder so i didnt loose anything.when i used starcheat i think it saved on the old player files,how can i stop that from happening D:

    Starcheat is known to mess up custom shotguns, the creator of Starcheat is working on a fix. As the latest update introduced changes on how guns work.

    For editing guns and such, the whole "basedps" and "level" and "rateoffire" and "inaccuracy" and projectile "power" and "level" just confuses the balls out of me. Why are there two numbers for basedps and rateoffire? What does it mean by "inaccuracy"? Like, does that mean the higher the number is, the less accurate it is or what? How does level factor into this? Why do the projectiles have separate "power" and "level"?

    Base dps and level are more for randomly-generated weapons. Level usually just scales the amount of energy and dps with respect to the power of the gun. Rate of fire is how fast the gun shoots, or the rate of the firing. Innacuracy is how much the bullets deviate at an angle from where you're shooting, which I've tried changing, but it always seems to not work and revert to its original values, possibly being tied to specific item names. Power is one thing that you can and should modify on the gun, which is how much damage each projectile deals. Note that the more you increase the strength of each stat, the more energy the gun will cost unless you use "classMultiplier":0 or "energyUsage":0. I'm not even sure if these still work the same way they do last update, so you can experiment with them if you want.
